The Context

IQVIA’s annual tech conference had been put on hold since 2019 and this was their first opportunity to bring their customers back together in person to meet, network and socialise.

The Challenge

With it being their first live event in three years, IQVIA challenged us to bring back their customer event with a bang and to elevate the delegate experience beyond the norm. There was still some uncertainty and concern around people wanting to travel, which had to be factored into our recommendations.

The Solution

We devised a concept for a hybrid event to be held in a central Europe location close to where many key customers were located to minimise the need to travel. To wow the delegates, we designed an innovative exhibition with key zones showcasing products and service offerings from across the client’s business. VR solutions were used to engage and excite attendees about the innovations in the industry and IQVIA’s latest products.

We designed an impactful plenary space and consulted on the format of the sessions, to ensure they were equally engaging for both live and virtual audiences. Breakout areas provided space for more in-depth discussions to take place, which helped to form further insightful content for the main plenary sessions.

The Result

Our experienced hybrid team supported IQVIA at all stages of the process, from planning through to delivery. The event expo provided a ‘hub’ for many of the businesses to network, resulting in stronger customer relationships and several new business deals that would otherwise have taken years to secure. IQVIA received fantastic feedback from attendees and have invited Aspect to deliver the project again in 2023!
