Sales Kick-Off 2023

The Context

We worked with our client SES Sales to design and deliver a three-day sales kick-off event for their internal sales teams. It was the first time their teams across the global organisation had come together in person since 2020.

The purpose of the meeting was to update the sales teams on the 2023 business strategy. The event brought together 320 people and included plenary sessions as well as breakout sessions and workshops to allow people to reconnect after three years and share knowledge together in smaller groups.

Our Work

Aspect supported SES with the production of the plenary sessions and all breakout activity, including set design, staging and all related branding for the event. To ensure a good ROI for SES, we worked with local suppliers to keep costs to a minimum. A core Aspect crew from the UK brought the expertise and quality of service they expected.

Aspect also provided creative and production support for the evening activities, including a funfair across eight different areas of the venue, an extravagant awards ceremony, and ‘rockaoke’ for all guests to really up the fun factor!

The Aspect team remained agile throughout the planning and delivery stages, with pre-scheduled 15-minute ‘touch-base’ calls in the last two weeks before the event to ensure every small detail was taken care of. We also introduced an innovative traffic light-based project management system that helped the client to prioritise and stay fully up-to-speed with the pre-planning process.

The outcome

Our client was extremely happy with the smooth production of the event and specifically with the evening activities, which provided additional networking and sharing opportunities for the sales teams in a more fun and informal setting. Feedback from members of the team confirmed that it was the best sales kick-off they had attended to date.
