140 Year Anniversary Reception

The Context

This resources sector client marked its 140th anniversary in 2025 with a series of global celebrations.

The London event, held in October, offered a special opportunity for guests to join the CEO and Executive Leadership Team for a cocktail reception recognising those who have helped shape the company’s remarkable journey.

With the venue already confirmed as Australia House through the company’s connections with the Australian High Commission, the project came to Aspect with just over a month to design, plan, and deliver a high-profile, flawless experience.

Key design and delivery elements included:

• Flexible spatial planning: Developed event layouts to accommodate multiple audience sizes while preserving flow and atmosphere.
• Immersive environment:
  •  A striking branded living wall served as both a visual centerpiece and photo backdrop for guests.
  •  A large LED wall provided a stage for presentation and video content.
  •  Floral displays and decorative lighting brought warmth and depth to the historic surroundings of Australia House.
• Guest experience: Designed for effortless movement and comfort from arrival to departure ensuring dignitaries and senior leaders could connect and celebrate without queues or service delays.
• Operational excellence: Coordinated food and beverage, technical production, and logistics to deliver a polished, memorable evening.

The outcome

The event was an outstanding success – a warm, elegant, and engaging celebration that captured the spirit of the client’s milestone year.

Attendance exceeded expectations, with record numbers joining to celebrate 140 years of progress, partnership, and purpose.
