Corporate Affairs Immersive Event

Client: Vodafone Foundation | Event: Connect Childhood | February 2026 | Services Provided: Technical delivery, creative design, production

The Context

Vodafone Foundation hosted Connected Childhood: Building Resilience in an Online World, an event designed to launch its Digital Wellbeing Index and encourage action around children’s online safety.

The event aimed to create a strong emotional connection to the realities children experience online while presenting research that highlights the importance of building resilience in an increasingly connected world. The central narrative focused on the idea that children are growing up in a permanently connected environment, and that supporting their wellbeing requires understanding the digital spaces they inhabit.

Key themes positioned digital inclusion and online safety as shared responsibilities across society, emphasising the need for collaboration between policymakers, civil society organisations, corporate partners and educators.

The audience included policymakers, regulators, NGOs, corporate partners, funders, media and thought leaders, alongside senior stakeholders from Vodafone Foundation and Save the Children.

Our Work

Aspect developed and delivered an end-to-end experiential event concept designed to bring the findings of the Digital Wellbeing Index to life.

The experience was structured around a four-part narrative journey that guided audiences through the themes of hidden harm, evidence, responsibility and action. This framework helped build empathy and understanding before presenting solutions and opportunities for collective action.

We designed a zoned event environment that led guests through a curated experience, including an entrance threshold, immersive video content, data-led installations and a digital solutions hub.

Our team specified and managed the event’s physical build and technical delivery, including layered panels, projections and visual storytelling elements that reflected the report’s visual language. We also produced the artwork and coordinated production and screen specifications across key zones, ensuring a cohesive and impactful environment.

Partnership

Aspect worked closely with Vodafone Foundation and Save the Children to ensure the event effectively showcased their partnership and their shared commitment to helping children navigate the digital world safely.

Aspect led the technical delivery, spatial design and production of the experience. We also supported one of the showcases translating the initiative into an interactive installation that aligned with the overall event design and messaging.

Throughout the process, we ensured the experience balanced emotional storytelling, evidence-based insights and practical solutions, meeting the needs of a diverse audience including senior leadership teams and external stakeholders.

The Outcome

The event delivered a highly immersive experience that helped audiences better understand the realities of children’s digital lives.

By guiding attendees from an external perspective into the digital environments children navigate every day, the event successfully built empathy before presenting the research and insights behind the Digital Wellbeing Index.

The event concluded with a clear message: supporting children’s digital wellbeing requires collective action across governments, organisations and communities.
