Telecoms Sales Conference in New Orleans, USA

The challenge

How do you inspire, engage and align a sales force of 2000+ to sell, sell, sell – all without ‘chalk and talk’ PowerPoint!? Against a background of growing competition and diversification, our client needed to instil a sense of strength, solidity and pride in their business and their products and services, at a large all-encompassing Sales Kick-Off event.

The solution

Aspect needed to create a contemporary, interactive, fun experience with content delivered in an interesting, memorable way. So the first rule was no PowerPoint! Instead we used storytelling and live experiences throughout, from; ‘fireside chats with senior leaders’, to in-depth interviews and panel sessions, including customer panels – which allowed customers to give their perspective on the Company’s business. All combined with contemporary, emotive video and live, interactive voting throughout – the content and messages were genuine, relevant and hard hitting.

Energy levels were kept high throughout with stimulating games and exercises, marching jazz bands, motivational speakers, prize draws, non-traditional break-outs and plenty of humour.

The theme surrounding this event was that our client, its people, products and services represented STABILITY for their clients and businesses in an unstable world. From STABILITY the word ABILITY was derived and this became the mantra for the event.
